This was probly one of the more funnier scenario games ive played.... it was a fast moving game with a lot of team work, no one was left out... As i saw it, it looked like everyone couldnt be happier.

practice recap..

I believe we ended up with around 30 players total, with Spyderman (Ball Crusher / Mayberry Mafia) running out of the Ranger Base, equipped with a few slackers motivated (incl. Justin / Mylan / Drewcif )

against Possom's Mogs including members of Nightmare 5150 incl. possom, & wilson. And Earl (Ball Crusher) and Sean Williams (SC Roadkill)

The new team SC Psycho - lead by Ruskin showed up a bit late with 9 or so members, and I believe they sided with the rangers.

We also had around 10 walk on recballers that that largely went on the Mog side - all getting a crash course in Scenario ball.
-------------
The Mogs under Possom started the day with a nasty little trick of sending Sean and Wilson to mess with Spyderman's insertions, while he lead a pack of new players running the first two missions nearly unopposed. I became afraid that this might be a bit boring for the new player and the day may be a failure. We took a lunch break(it was hot and humid), and noticed quite a few players showed up to play including team SC Psycho. After lunch we had a great "hold for 20 minutes" mission that Possom held for the first 18 with all hand present, followed by being overthown by 2 very determined - dual sided pushs by the rangers. (It was nice to see possom get owned)

It looked like the Rangers had their momentum and this would turn out well. Unforutnately it seemed to me that the rangers communications network was not working, and the mogs also got tired of trying to organize pack assaults and many of the following missions were the scenario vets taking on each other. I reminded the generals that this was for practice and to try to help coach the new players some - but their competative nature made the game very real and by last few missions of the afternoon it was down to hand to hand combat - General on General. (Possom barreltagged Spyderman)

Final Score : Mog 660 -- Ranger 140 (missions:100 -- props/valor: 20)

--------Lessons learned and feedback--------

SC Psycho - I hope you guys get commo'ed up before the August practice. I know office max has like 2 rechargable uniden radios for $25 (12/ea).

Generals: please communicate with your bases to direct the insertions. (perhaps have an XO with radio stay at base if you are going to lead missions)

Teams: Make sure you have commo with your general. We had a lot of random firefights in places of no value.

Earl / Sean / Justin / Mylan / Wilson : Excellent work. But I ask you next time to take a new player or two with each of you to help teach them a thing or two.

Ruskin: Thanks for getting your team out - and when I saw you guys working together, yall did welll, and that says something. But moving together and sticking togther and staying mission focused takes work. If you guys come out to rec ball and Im there, Ill work on a few specific recball exercises to help with some of this - and yes you can bring radios to recball.

----------------------------feedback from Robbie and Del-----------
Del and Robbie loved the idea and how this worked out. I imagine we will continue to hold scenario training days on the second saturday of the month year round.

The next one is August 13th - first mission 10:30am -- generals briefing at 10:00am

----------------------------
Yall yell me how I can improve the exercise.

Let me put my 2 cents in about the coms guys. If you get a coms set for your self your buddy or your team. Please get some kind of head/ear set to go with it. Silent is the key. An open radio gives away a lot not to mention were your at. Since my last game the Gen and XO had open radios I though I would let yall know its best to be quit when playin in the bush. At lest when your not fighting.
