OK troops, Im working on an idea to get a scenario tournament series going in ALabama. I know of the SPPL and I really like the idea. So based "very loosely" on that idea, do you think that we could get some scenario ballers to attend one of these events in the Bama area. Im just trying to get a feel for my demographic right now so post up if youd be interested in competing in such an event...Im thinking maybe the series finally would be all Urban, like maybe at the MOUT site at Ft. Mcclellan Al, that I already have access to.

post up some more info...is it a monthlong, yearlong, daylong, etc.? would it be at just a couple fields or all over alabama? how much? i may be interested though.

I dont have any concrete info for ya yet. I actually have two fields in the Birmingham area that would be interested in doing it. Im going to try and contact Mt. Doom in Cullman and Dothan survival games in south Al. Ill post up info as I get it.

yeah i wouldnt mind seeing one in the area, heck i know for a fact the team im on would come.

As long as it doesnt cost as much as the SPPL, you may do good.

Ok I just got word, gold diggers is holding one of these! here are the details.


Five 5 Man Teams on the Scenario field at the same time!

Five starting positions on the field - random draw placement for each Team!
Five flag stations - flag station positions change after each game!
One referee per 5 Man Team - 3 roving referees, total of 8 per game!

Two 20 minute games per hour!

Fifty points for each flag pull - 5 points for each surviving player...
Opponent's flags are retrievable once opponent is tagged out...

~ $25.00 per 5 Man Team - ante per round ~
~ One time $10.00 air fee per player ~

~ Winning team receives $100.00 - balance to pay referees ~
