SUTAL 2008 D-Day

The rumors are true, this year's Oklahoma D-Day
event will have something which NO other paintball
event anywhere has to offer this year.

That something is a series of three different SUTAL
(Small Unit Tactics And Leadership) tactical training
courses, which will be taught using 'REAL' weapons
which have been fitted with brand new, state of the
art MILEs 2000 systems. (M16s, AK-47, RPK lmg)

The three courses being offered include;

Basic offensive Tactics - Wednesday, June 10th

Squad Offensive Tactics - Thursday, June 11th

Company Offensive Tactics - Friday, June 12th

Each of these three classes will be repeated three
times on the day it's being offered in order to allow
as many people as possible a chance to take it. The
cost for each class is $50.00. That price includes the
use of the weapon as well as the necessary ammo
you'll need to complete your training.

The reason each class is limited to just 40 people is for
two reasons, first to make sure everyone gets the proper
amount of personal attention they need to learn what's
being taught and second because the folks teaching the
courses only have 40 sets of weapons and MILEs training
gear available.

This course is open to players from either side, as well
as to anyone else who plans to attend this event, so
long as they meet 1 Shepherd's mimimum age limit.

To sign up for one of this year's enhanced SUTAL
training courses, please go to the 1 Shepherd website,

One Shepherd

Once there click on the word SCHEDULE in their header
bar and then scroll down till you reach the course and
time that best suits your schedule.

Remember, they only have 40 weapons, so class size is
limited. A total of 120 slots are available for each class.

If you have any questions regards to the courses, or the
folks who are going to be be teaching it, drop me a note
or give my office a call.

Sincerely,

PS: Here's a link to a short clip featuring the folks from
1 Shepherd and a brief look at what they'll be teaching,
along with a look at the weapons you'll be using.

As you'll see this takes tactical training to an entirely
new level, one which is typically reserved for military
personnel only.

One of the nice things you'll notice about their MILES training is that since there are no projectiles, there is no need for paintball goggles. Isn't that nice! I don't know how they'll do it at D-day but I would expect the same way.
