Trigger-fired LAW

Does anyone happen to know how to hook up a trigger frame from say a spyder to act as the firing mechanism for a rocket launcher? right now im using a ball valve, but after Op. Torch i'd like to change that to a trigger....any help would be much appreciated!

my setup is better than yours......i hope.....

Perhaps you can use this valve:

You can also use this push-button valve as a triggering mechanism:

I use the quick exhaust valve and it's great. It's much faster than a sprinkler valve.

How did you connect the Super Quick exhaust valve? What did you use to hold the pressure b4 releasing it through the Super Quick Exhaust Valve?

At what cost?

I see the super quick Exhaust valve prices out at >$30, plus shipping, plus the trigger valve. For me the sprinkler valves at $10-$15 and the ball valves at $8-$10 are expensive enough. At this point I would start thinking about the MKS, unless you just like spending the dough to tinker (like I do). My last few homemade launchers priced out from ~$30 for a simply ball valve configuration to ~$75 for a remote operated electronic splinkler valve job. But if you're fitting them to a specific tank, or you enjoy fun and experiments, there's no substitue for having your own creation take out a tank!

I ran some flexible air compressor hose to a push button valve. The air chamber I use is a fire extinguisher body. The reason I use the exhaust valve is because it is rated to higher pressures than the plastic sprinkler valves. Higher pressure = smaller air chamber. Also, I don't need any batteries....just in case it starts to rain or I decide to take a dip in one of PBC's ponds.

i love to tinker and explore. but this being my first rocket launcher i'm not sure if it will meet the standards for BC. i am looking at the rainfly system and hook up the wires to the trigger so when i fire i make contact and the valve opens. im also going to keep the ball valve as a safety. do you always need an expansion chamber? and also can you use tennis balls? i can't find the footballs that will fit my barrel, all i find are the new ones that are bigger.

my setup is better than yours......i hope.....

All joking aside, we use the electronic sprinkler valves and push buttons in our tanks. Being a formen woodworker, I like to construct handles and such for mine. They are usually a bit heavy for a hand-held rocket launchers though. Stop by before the game and I'll show you. I might even bring our prototype tennis ball cannon to BC.
