West Point April 22 and 23rd. Scenario.

From -sensi on pbnation:

In 100 days, West Point will host its next scenario event.

For those who have never been to West Point, last September's event was a good un. It received great reviews. Barney (the Rockstar) and the guys that posted on PBnation's West Point thread on Sept 25th (after the game) rated it the best scenario game ever. Yeah, it was that good.

What went on? Well, both sides took the game seriously, West Point came up with a good format, tanks roamed the roads. You don't see tanks ( on too many fields) running on good roads and mixing it up with infantry. There was a lot of heavy fighting. The objective was the town of Bastogne. When the troops got to Bastogne, the stealthly woodsball game became a brutal pounding speedball-type mission. There was an open field (with inflatable objects) and the mission was to raise a flag in the middle of the field. Hundreds of smoke grenades and 280 combatants made the combat intense.

The US paratroopers won, so the Germans are looking for revenge. Unfortunately (for those defending the Bastogne hill) there will be no heavy foliage to protect defenders. Last September, the foliage allowed snipers to send hundreds of Germans to the DZ. Those with flatlines and long ball capability will do well in April. To give you an idea of what the hills will look like, I've gone to strategic paintball and pulled a picture from last April's WP event. As you guys can see, it's a whole new ball game.
