best barrel for ion
I was in the nieghberhood of thinking of buying a barrel and I was wondering what you guys recommended

Sly, ccm, scepter, stiffi switch kit, lucky 15 kit. All of those are very good kits.

I'd have to go with chappy with the sly as far as being realy accurate and quiet. I've seen them work really well with ions

Meh...I'm too lazy to do PM's. I don't have one on my Ion but I have one on my Ego. I just love UL barrels, they're light, accurate, consistent, and they look nice. They'll shoot awesome for any gun that you have.
BTW, I have shot an ion with a UL before, and it shot great.

First of all what's your price range? And are you looking for just a single barrel or would you want a barrel kit? Also if you want a barrel kit would you want one with just backs or with inserts to where you can just buy one new back to use for different guns instead of having to buy a whole new set of backs.
