Bye Bye to Macro line

I'm looking to get rid of the macro line running from the ASA to the REG.
Can anyone give me any feedback on what to use, where to get it and is it worth doing. As anyone knows a slight leak with the Macro is hard to fix in sub-freezing weather and is as common has a Harley with an oil leak.

you can always use stainless line witha quick connect. ive always had it on my mag. and have it on my r/f sniper2. i just think it looks better and just as easy as macro.
any pb shop should still have some fittings and steel braided line around. little more costly than macro (the line itself is ~$10 as opposed to $1-2 for macro).

Steel braded line is the High Pressure standard for all paintball equiptment. It can be found at most paintball shops and can be bought online. They come in premade lengths. They do not leak for the most part if there installed correctly. Steel braded is harder to get off than micro line. Removing steel braded line you have to remover your asa from the marker grip, then use a wrench to take it off the asa.
Micro hose is used for quick break down. Its easy to take off so you can work on your reg or other parts. Why don't you just try using a new piece, ware will cause micro line to leak. Also try cutting off the end a 1/6" and reinstalling. Make sure the slip fitting's are pulled out a little when you reinstall.

its a little quicker with the quick connect attached to one end.
that way you dont have to remove the asa.

steel braided = reliable...

But Hard Line = cool.

I wouldnt put macro-line on my dog, especially my CO2 powered dog.

Why pay some mill shop to grind 2 ounces of aluminum off your body, and then pay to re-anno it - only to turn around and put a 3 ounce quick-disconnect back on the steel-braided hose?
