it may be that paint is smaller down here because when it gets to 98 degrees on any given summer morning the paint will expand too much if it isn't small bore to begin with...

I've used my Freak kit for about two years on my ION I think at 1 time or another I've used them all. most common for me has been the 689, then the 691, and probably the 684..BUT I've played in extreme cold, and in the rain..and had to use multiple inserts in the same day. At the first MOUT game in Anniston my paint swelled so much I used just my Freak back without ANY inserts.

I bought it for a $100 from chappy and I am selling it for a $100.

here lately I have been using my.689 for pretty much whatever paint I get.I have used my .684 and .687 some too but its been awhile.seems like when its cold out I use the small bores but since its gotten warm here all I have needed was the .689.

Before you buy look there....

IMO, I've noticed paint has been very small this year. From what I've seen a lot of folks are using the .679 inserts..

Rich at the last Blanding MXS game I used my smallest insert .679. Paint was the Special made PMI Combat 68 for the MOUT.

it is not that it is the way it it made but also sometimes you will get a bad batch of paint it hppens to all fields when they buy bulk paint
