Well having a stock will help you shoot straighter, and quicker target aquisition... as far as a red dot sight its personal preferance...If you had balisticly perfect paint it would be worth it, but we don't...:(
But if you putting on the extra 45* rails might as well have a sight...LOL you can always take it off... |

why use a stock when a 45/45 works perfectly? honestly it's just added weight

Though it is unusual, a LOT of the people i play with run Sniper II's with Dot Sites, and Find them to be terribly accurate. The red dots work very well for me, but i seldom use it...I should. But I dont. I use my 68-4500 for shoulder support, and I admit i have the accuracy of an uninflated beach-ball. But If you like dot sites- they are Pretty awesome in my book.

you're kidding me right? because a steel tank of any kind attached to a stock is going to outweigh a carbon fiber. Here are the weights for the most common tanks today:
Carleton Carbon Fiber 68/4500 DOT-11194....................2.1 lbs (953.4 Grams) Carleton FiberGlass 68/4500 DOT-11005.......................2.6 lbs (1180.4 Grams) Catalina Aluminum 47/3000 DOT- 3AL3000...................2.7 lbs (1225.8 Grams) LUXFER Carbon Fiber 88/3000 DOT 10915-3000............2.3 lbs (1044.2 Grams) LUXFER CARBON FIBER 68/4500 DOT 10915-4500...........2.1 lbs (953.4 Grams) SCI "white" 68ci 4500psi 08/2005 bottle.......................2.5 lbs (1133.9 Grams) Carleton Fiberglass 45/4500 DOT 11005........................1.9lbs (861.8 Grams) stako/ceasair Composite bottle (NOT DOT approved)......1.75lbs (793.8 Grams) This info is a sticky on PBNation that was given to them by Nitroduck. Here's the thread i got it from: Air System Wieghts - PbNation And yes, of course your 91/4500 is going to be heavy, for gods sake it's rare to find a 88/3000 let alone a 91/45. Part 2- A full 20 oz Co2 tank weighs around 3 lbs 10 ounces. That its self weighs more than almost all the HPA tanks on the market. Add at with the weight of a stock which im going to give the benefit of the doubt and say 3-4 lbs = a 7-8 lbs set up. Sorry man, i dont care what you think -- numbers dont lie. Oh and all my sources are credible: Air System Wieghts - PbNation Xtreme Paintball Guns, Equipment and Reviews--Pure Energy 20-oz CO2 Bottles click more info above the picture and it will give you the full weight. thankyou and have a nice day. -larry |

that's not the point. the point is a full 20 oz weighs more than any CF tank on the market. It's still added weight.

Southernstormpaintball and I both said we were using remotes...DUH! You said you use your 45/45 for your stock. We are using our much lighter stocks |
