I bought an early Ion and within the first month or so had problems with the stock reg, heard lot of other people did as well, along with the feedneck issue. I dont know if this is something they corrected yet or not. Nice gun however I have enjoyed mine.

a clamping neck is adjustable to most hoppers
play with it a couple times before actually upgrading unless you have a halo or high end hopper you need a clamping feedneck
recomended upgrades over time are
***tech t ion dvd to learn about how the ion functions and is supposed to be taken apart helped a lot*****
a clamping feedneck Q-lock or ccm
a QEV valve from smart parts do get this installed professionally easy to strip when screwing in
a barrel usually an anything reccommended by others dont know much of barrel good for ion
a new bolt L6 by techt
a new reg cp reg
again play with it first before upgrading i found my stock ion barrel to be pretty accurate for the first 5 couple of months
