As Clay Dirt said we have great luck with braided and we can keep it out of the way and looking good. The added bonus is I can and do carry my guns by the braided line, try that with macroline

Hmmmmm... My ETEK is quite nicely carried by the macro! heheh! Now the Sniper II is a different story.

Bottom line, Dude, is that you have some great selections on great advice. You should be able to find a solution that fits your situation perfectly. (But if the SS line leaks, it's THEIR fault! )

I have my friend at parker trying to see what they come up with for braided. I have been sitting here looking at my gun and trying to figure out what will work the best. I think i might be able to take a 90* elbow from bottom of the reg, point to the left and then attach the macro line fitting 90* to that pointing towards the drop forward. I think this is going to work? the line will be alot straighter and cheapest route for now.

Is there any problem with the sound of this?
And if this don't work i might have to have someone whip me with macro line. This is the last chance for macro as i will still be getting steel line for back up.

From the pictures I saw, you could use a 90 looking down the barrel and loop a short piece of whatever back and run it into a 90 at the bottom line adapter. That will keep the goods in a streamline profile and not put as much stress on the plumbing. This would work on the other gun as well. Hope this helps.

Considering the photos, if I was trying to fix your problem, the first thing I would do is change the regulator fittings to straights instead of 90's. And the ones on the ASA's should be swivels and not the fixed. That is one of the biggest problems I see on my bench with macroline. Extreme bends can be a persistent aggravation. (I always try to mix asthetics with functionality. )

A lot of people have had a great deal of trouble with macroline. On the other hand, as a tech, I have many more players come into the proshop with leaky and problematic braided line, and I'd much rather deal with macro... Grendel and Claydirt take immaculate care of their gear, so that should be a clue to you or anyone else wanting to use braided. One of the advantages to the macroline is that if it does leak, you take the old one out and trim the end with a pair of diagonals or a razor knife and/or throw a section of $1 a foot replacement line on it. All in about two minutes, if you're slow. You an do that with braided if you're fast with a wrench. Unfortunately, it's not as easy on your wallet. And for the really macro-challenged, you can pre trim a section and carry it with you on the field so if a switch is necessary, you can do it sans tools!

Again, choices for you to make... Good luck!

Well as for the other gun ( w/ blue ) i have two swivals on and it is pointed forward just an older pic.

I tried this with my gun and the macro don't loop small enough or it stresses the fittings. i tried when putting back together with ape board recently. And about swival fittings already planned on that when i have drop put on like year ago they only had 3 swivals so black gun didn't get one on drop forward.

And thanks grandal for fixing pics in other forum with gun pic's, not sure why it can up like that?

This is my Epiphany, has a macro line, can you see it? If it is not visible I will take a closer pic. about 2" total in a straight line into the bottom of the reg. I like it because there are no worries about catching it on something and I can carry the marker around by it. Sit back, think about it and be creative, you might just solve your problem and give it a custom look.
