Problem with Deadlywinds DT13 body/need help

I just put on a Deadlywinds DT 13 body on my Ion. Need help with putting on the stock. Deadlywinds claims it will
accept stocks for Model 98 tippmann markers. There must some trick to putting these on. The body came with no instructions. It looks as though the only way to make it fit is to turn down/trim the end of the stock. Really wasn't looking to do that. Any ideas?

There add says there's suppose to be an adapter for the stock.
If you don't have an adapter I'd call DW support and find out why???

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the body did come with an adapter. It is part of(built into)the donut. My problem my be that all model 98 stocks may not be the same size, where they mount to the frame. This may not be a problem with the tippmann markers. But, the only way I'll be able to mount it is if I
sand down the area where the stock attaches to the body. I was hoping someone else had some experience with this, and could offer another option.
I won't return the stock(my mistake, not theirs).Other than this small problem, the body looks and works great. Any other ideas?

Solution

I found a solution. The adaptor came in two metal parts(like half shells). I turned them around the plastic end of the stock. Used the metal shells to shave of enough plastic
material to allow the end to slide into the end of the body. It ended up being pretty easy after all. Just had to stop and think about it first.

Mine leaked at first also, after it was first aired up. Pulled the trigger a few times and it stopped. Make sure you use the proper lube on the o-rings on the bolt out back adaptors. Come to think of it, I tested it before I mounted the stock. I will test again, but can't imagine it would make a difference. The adaptor that holds the stock sits behind the o-rings. I'll post again tonight after I retest.

I have tested it again. This time with the stock on. Works fine , no leaks. I'd like to take credit for the install of the body, but can't. I took it to paintball Charleston and they put the body on for me. You didn't say where it was leaking from. Maybe you should take it to the field you play at and have someone there take a look at it.
