Yes, it does. You're right about that. But in my honest opinion, it's not worth the 50 bucks for a wee bit of efficiency that it improves. If you want better efficiency, get a QEV for 20 bucks.

If you like it stock....then it's great for the price.. if you plan on investing into an arse load of upgrades.. i'd probably look at something else.

Fast and reliable gun. The price is cheap for what you get in the gun. The plastic body makes it light and manuverable.

Thumbs up

Just bought one at PBC love it, wasted about 500 rounds on the trails out back. It will put 3 round burst one on top of the other with stock barrel. Am ordering freak back to take full advantage of my new toy. I love this marker, my tippmanns will be retired.

Today may be a bad day for somebody, My give a damn broke last night and I dont plan on getting it fixed.

They are a good marker for the price. When you buy one, as other people have already stated buy a new feedneck first & foremost. Then a new reg would be the next thing on my list. I would recommend either a CP or an AKA Sidewinder or 2liter. The QEV would be next, then a trigger as the composite triggers tend to break. As for barrels run the stock at first until you decide if you want something different. J&J makes an excellent barrel as does CP, then there are the smart parts barrels (Progressive, All American, Teardrop, Freak) these are all good barrels. The UL barrels are also very good but are a bit pricey. Buy what you can afford & what works for you & what you are comfortable with. Just my .02

I appreciate all the response to this thread. It has helped me greatly in making my decision. Thus, I will be selling all of my Kayaking gear and boat to save up. I plan on getting the ION with all the trimmings to boot. (QEV Valve, Hopper, Trigger and even a Nitrogen tank 68ci 4500 ...) ...only time will tell.

Thanks again to everyone for your valued information.
