SELL ME on the ION!

O.K. I've read the stickies on this board and others. I've seen them in action on the field and in video clips.

I've been a Tippmann man for all of my paintball days. I have a Custom 98 with all the tweaks for scenario play and I am torn with the idea of upping to an A5. Still, I've almost convinced myself that I want something different, but I need that extra little push to send me over the price edge...

SHOULD I BUY AN ION?

I guess if I hear it on PBJunkie, I would have definetely have heard it from the best source.

SELL ME on the ION !

Its a great gun, I'm gonna tell you that and that's it. Everyone here is either for or against the Ion on any board its almost a bad subject because everyone gives you their opinions. Basically It's a great gun, works great, very reliable. All I can tell you to do is go to a field and try one out, feel it, shoot it. And see if you like it.

It's a cheap fast gun, but you do get what you pay for. I'd look at the new crop of cheap and fast guns that just came out, they raised the bar.

o.k....o.k. I got it ! Jeezzzz...

Of course I plan on getting a Tank, tweaks and other items so actually the price might be a little higher. I had been looking on line for package deals so we'll see what happens.

I pretty much had already decided to get one so don't worry it wasn't much of a push. Just wanted to get some feedback. Thanks guys for your replies.

We'll see what happens after X-mas. ...

yes ions are wonderful guns i own one myself and i play speedball. i would recommend some upgrades as soon as you get it though. the first and most important is a new feedneck cause no hopper will fit in the stock one. then i would go for a new trigger, on/off, barrel, then a new bolt, and probably last a new reg
