helicopter operations guide
http://www.triggertyme.com/2005-10-1...operations.pdf We have used this format at Super 64, Bakara and at least one more, and it works very well. The biggest problem is bird dogging which can be prevented with a ref playing pilot - but this assumes we have xtra refs... Right now Im thinking US Special forces can use helicopters for recon, insertions and extractions. Once the montegnards are "trained" as special forces they too can ride. Ill try hard to keep this as simple as possible. One or two choppers should be enough. I doubt we will be using satchel charges for bombing, and limited usage, 20 minutes per flight max. For the US General to call up a helicopter, he calls a designated ref on channel 1 who then flys the chopper under the generals orders. Last edited by thumper; 04-27-2006 at 07:16 AM. |

when we get 'trained' to become a USSF and get the tape, does that mean that we can now ride the helicopters?

helios cant be shot down nerf rockets cant be shot at it since there is no protection for the "passengers" if they are hit and no one inside of it should be shot and they will have barrel plugs in so people wont shoot anyway but yes rules about helios should be stated clearly in the safety breifing. a ref should accompany a helio at all times.

I think that just for the record,
All US Special forces should seriously take advantage of helo-transportation. At super-64, had the rangers used black hawks more often and more wisely, they would have probably won the game. Though I say more wisely and more often, ask Bunker along with many others, who used them perfectly, for probing, landing in and around buildings, ...etc....Generals in charge, please scrutinize the possibilities of aircraft transportation! -Well I wouldn't be very good at my job if it did."
