correct - choppers must be flown by a pilot who stays w/ chopper. Likely to be dracula as ref.

Rumor is a 24 passenger chinook may make its appearance this June..

In the past there have been real problems with 6-man chopper teams rolling out... but with no pilot.

Chinooks are still the Army's heavy lift helecopter and will likely be in service for many years to come.

not sure why all the helo confusion. its pretty simple really. assuming thumper hasn't changed the rules- and it doesn't sound like he has....

when a HELO is called BY THE GENERAL, a REF, not a player, will walk (FLY) in with a pvc pipe that has 6 rope leads hanging from it. 6 players will PLUG their barrels... making them a void target just like ANY other time you have a barrel plug in. you will grab one of the rope leads, and all walk (FLY) to your destination. when the ref (PILOT) takes a knee- unplug your barrel because you've landed and are fair game. shooting at helos, and shooting from helos is not allowed. it also just kinda bad sportsmanship in my eyes to follow the helo until it lands. if a helo passes you, make a note of its direction, call it in over the radio and warn your team... let that be the end of it, unless it lands in front of you. hopefully that helps clear up some of the confusion.

That is a very good, and accurate explanation.
