scoring missions..

If you look at this map - you will see a bunch of map locations and times - for example:

10:30 -- [ ] HOA CAM

the way this works is, at 10:29 I ride my little 4 wheeler over to HOA CAM, and look around to see what team holds HOA CAM as my watch ticks exactly 10:30. If im late, you better wait. If im real late - try and reach me on frms channel 1

I then put an initial between the brackets as to who holds it - and this is good for 100 points. If you are a general, and your side is holding the objective, please let me know so you can recieve the 50 point bonus for "general lead" - There can be at most one 50 point bonus per side per time period.

Many time slots have many objectives - for example:
02:00 -- [ ]KONTUM, [ ]HUE, [ ]HANOI

Your side should try and hold all of these at exactly 2:00pm - each is worth 100 points for a total of 300 possible.

the last mission has 5 objectives - for a total of 500 points possible.

map update

Last weekend the trail ending at Da Nang was extended to Tam Ky making a fairly large circular trail - and making the far reaches of the field a bit more tank/gunship friendly.

...
So if a team eliminates an opposing general with a sniper AND holds a position with their own general, they don't get bonus points for both? Could very easily happen.

good point.

Ill be scoring the missions and general lead stuff together at the missions as usual. The sniper stuff will be added on at the end of the game - like a props or valor bonus. So technically, yes - each mission could be worth more than as stated above if the enemy general were willing to die for his country a few dozen times..

tis may have been addressed already, forgive me if so... but will the generals have any type of identifying marks or do we simply need to remember what they are wearing at the morning brief?? i won't waste much time hunting him but i'll be keeping an eye out thats for sure.

Unless Thumper has changed things since we brainstormed this idea, Snipers will be given one bag (500 balls) of paint of a different color - along with their Sniper card. If a general is eliminated by the sniper color paint, the sniper's team gets 50 points. Only card-carrying snipers can use or even possess the sniper paint.

SNIPERS MAY NOT GIVE THEIR SNIPER PAINT TO ANY OTHER PLAYERS!!!

Any non-sniper caught with sniper paint will face harsh punishment and could potentially negate all sniper bonuses for their team.

Other than that, there are no other rules.
