Paint update

This past satuday we got a few cases of paint in from Draxxus - including the following:

• RecBall
  
• Midnight
  
• Blaze
  
• Hell Fire
  
• Xball Bronze

I personally field tested 3 of the 5 with the following report:

My setup: The Magic 8 Ball 2K1 Sniper II w/ WGP kaner set w/ 14" tip, unireg throwing 350psi at the ball on CO2, CCM pump, WGP Black Magic bolt, stock valve and Tasco PDPII red dot. 277fps - 50+ days of play with this rig, 750 days with this type rig.



Blaze - deadly consistant. a perfect .684bore. Lots of pick offs w/ a pink/orange shell and a hot pink fill. I definitely want MORE of this stuff. 8" pattern at 120' - balls broke on everything I hit. I love the fill. MORE PLEASE.

Recball : a .689 bore, - decent field paint. Solid red Shell w/ thin Orange fill - I shot 200 rounds holding an 18" pattern at 120' - a few bouncers. Ide recommend trying a different shell - the fill was great.

Midnight : a .684 bore - purple shell, light blue fill - I was pretty disappointed w/ the midnight. I shot a case or two 6 months ago that shot much better. It could just be this batch. 18" pattern at 120'. a few bouncers, but not many. Ide recommend trying a different shell/fill combination.

I didnt shoot the Hell fire - but reports from LB "I didnt know paint could shoot this good" - and we sold out before I even got to try some. (Ive never seen LB play so effectively. He was using his regulated Sniper II -- I think ANS genX II w/ Lapco stainless barrel)

Sounds like we have two good candidates. I'm looking forward to testing them myself. Do we know yet what would TT sell those two for?

thump i went sat to the cfoa with our feild team REACT BLACK i didnot play but coached as usall and our guys were shooting xball bronse and chronic the chronic came home and all the xball is gone. it was awsoooooooooommme. out of 67 teams in the prelims our guys finished 5th!!! and they said the paint had a lot to do with it!! so i would personaly use the bronse!!!

i LOOOVE rec-ball, (in my b2k) i have never chopped EVER! with recball (the stuff from 6 4) black shell/purple-ishwhite fill.

they used to carry blaze down here at pbc and many people were buying 1-2 cases of it with fast guns so im not surprised with that one. ive never used nightmare.

Blaze and recball sound like really good paint. I would really play with blaze seeing how balls broke on everything you hit.I think that at Ballbusters the use recball and i really like it.The paint shot straight ,busted,and i didn't have any problems with it chopping. Hey how about getting both and letting the players choose which one they want in stead of getting one type of paint? I got a new 14 inch sniper barrel this weekend.I will try recball paint and tell you how it goes.By the way nice gun!

Draxxus is the best paint that I have ever used, I'm glad that you got rid of the circuit . Ive used all kinds of paint and there is none better,.

wow you didnt break a ball with a b2k...not to flame...but for not to break with a b2k you either have eyes or that is great paint...and i do agree draxxus is great paint

From what i'm hearring draxxus,Recball,and Blaze are the number one paints to choose from,Thunper.Now it is your turn to choose which paint to choose.
