I really don't find it funny at all. I don't care if he has millions, he could be a very unhappy person, because contrary to popular belief there is more to life than money. And...money does not equal happiness. He's still a person, I doubt that you'd find something like that funny if it was someone you knew. I've always respected Owens. Why? Because he bring something to professional football that has been missing for a long time. Fun. He goes out there and has fun, not too many pros out there that do that anymore.

true. i hope he has matured out of that "i should get more money" phase. not that he's the only one. i hate it when any pro athelete does that. but for some reason his was so publicized. good agent i guess, it got his name out there. i especially like watching his endzone dances though, like chad johnson.

depression is a bad thing.... But I dont feel sorry for him nor do I care about his supposed depression. He is the one who dumped his old manager and then went to drew rosenhouse for exactly one reason MORE MONEY, he has hurt every team he has been with, talks more crap about the people he works with, and has done nothing but place himself in a media frenzied position.( look at all the photo ops he has had in the past ) This is the life he made, chose and has to live. Millions of people go through depression. Do I think he tried to kill himself? No, I dont. Do I think it was a reaction to a combination of pain killers and supplements ? Maybe. There are programs out there for ervery player and every team. MUSC has one .If he wants to punch his own ticket , do it. If it were one of my family memebers I guess I would have noticed his behavioral change and helped. ( I have done this i the past ) I also have seen it in many inmates and have helped them as well so I do have some, albeit limited ,exp. with this. As for the fun he brings to the game, I dont see it. Being a team player, I despise everything he represents and while we all look for those colorful players, he is just not colorful. He is destructive, childish, and overall a crappy team player. Those are the facts. I hope he does get help for his problem but I will continue my TO hating style. I m sorry if this bothers anyone but thats just the way I am.
