Lsu 38 - Osu 24

Is there any doubt in ANYONES mind that the SEC is THE dominant force in College Football.

I am SO-SICK-AND-TIRED of year after year hereing about OHIO STATE,and USC. Maybe NOW (I doubt it) we will here about SEC Teams leading in the National Championship standings throughout the season.

LSU Bayou Fighting Tigers NATIONAL CHAMPS!!! Great Job Guys!

BTW - WAR EAGLE!!! I am an AUBURN Tiger after all...

If Southern Cal, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Nebraska, & Oklahoma played in as tough of a conference as the SEC, they wouldn't post those "impressive" win-loss records year in & year out.

N. Dame had a bad year and they'll recover somewhat, but as long as they stay independent, I see their program edging downhill.

The only tough game Ohio State & Michiagn usually play each year is at the end when they play each other.

Since UCLA has gone downhill, Southern Cal has lost it's only guarenteed hard game each year, yet manages to lose at least 1 game anyway.

Nebraska & OK have the same thing going for them Oh & Mi do--easy sechdule with one or two somewhat tough games. I don't know why any players go there--there's nothing to do for miles around.

Anyway, getting back to the polls--the people that vote often have a little "home cooking" going on--often they are from the areas or colleges they are voting for. But beyond that, everyone like to be right--well, with their weak scedules, pollsters aren't forced to "vote down" those teams very often. This in turn makes them feel smart.

To make it worse this year, Gerogia would beat OH or SCal given the chance. The two best teams in the country are SEC teams.

Oh yes. I was born in New Orleans, spent a lot of years in Baton Rouge, and live/work on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The only thing I can say is

GO TIGERS!
LSU ROCKS! Thank you Les Miles and the entire LSU Squad for bringing home the crystal!

And the SEC rules the gridiron!

Wow, Dude. I didn't know that. May be able to grab you some Richards or Savoie's. Scott is about a two hour roll for us, one way. I can always get up an LA care package. Community NO Blend Coffee & Chickory, Camelia Red Beans, some fresh French Bread, Barq's etc...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I actually live in Ponchatoula, just east of Hammond. So I can get SOME decent stuff. But then you have to remember that we all judge each other's food harshly because we're all spoiled with each others food. Ah, Breaux Bridge! But then riding the Causeway to Bucktown for seafood or the myriad of resturants or bars in New Orleans and Metairie... Sheer heaven. "Alas poor Cardiac, I knew him well. To suffer the slings and arrows of mighty cholesterol is death". (Apologies to the Bard)
And to hear them butcher "Chachere's"...
