I can't freaking believe it.. I turn on the NFL Network and I'm blacked out for tonight's game... I go to Knology (My cable provider) and here's what I get:

Important Message Regarding the NFL Network.
Due to excessive licensing fees, Knology will not be carrying the eight special LIVE NFL regular season games on the NFL Network. All cable customers would have been required to pay a higher fee, regardless of their interest level. We felt passing the costs onto all customers was unfair and not in everyone's best interest. The schedules for your hometown NFL team or any of the other NFL games carried on NBC, CBS, Fox and ESPN will not be affected.


This is absolutely ridiculous! I've sent a nice nasty gram to the NFL at NFLN.fans@la.nfl.net and I encourage any fan to do the same!

It's the same with most cable companies. That's why the dish is the way to go.
