Playoffs!

Patriots vs Colts. My pick= Patriots

Bears vs. Saints. My pick= Saints (actually it depends on which Bears team shows up)

Both should be good games.

OK. Well since MaciekOP is in another world... I was surprised at the Patriots winning over the Chargers, since SD was heavily favored. As a Saints fan, I was pulling for SD, since Brees would have had extra incentive against the Chargers in the Super Bowl. Then again, a SB with Archie's kid against the Saints would be interesting. The Bears game yesterday was not as one sided as I thought it would be. As much as I wanted Seattle to win, I thought Chicago would blow them out. When that didn't happen, it was cool to see the similarities between the two NFC playoff games. Chicago made it with a majority of "big plays" as Philly had done with the Saints. The score was even the same. Chicago and the Saints seem to be a very evenly matched contest. If the weather is mild, New Orleans has a better chance. Forecast is for PC skies witn temps at 32 degrees.

I guess my picks are more "home" oriented. I go with the Colts, (Peyton Manning is a New Orleans boy), and the Saints. With the Saints coming out as the second "America's Team", they sure deserve a shot at the big one. I've been watching, screaming at, crying over, being pissed at, and every other emotion that a fan can have over the past forty years. I was at the game in Tulane Stadium where Tom Dempsey kicked the leagues still standing record 63 yard field goal with half a foot! This team knows what is at stake and want it badly. Lets hope that desire can overcome any weather that Chi-town can throw at them.
