24 hours - Super 61..

Im giving serious thought to turning this into a 24 hour game to help those teams coming in from out of town make more of the trip. Orginially Grendel and I were going to make this series a "lite" event, but the argument for traveling teams and 24 hour gaems makes a lot of sence - and the people Im talking to are very serious about the event. e.g. they arenty taking it lightly - so should we kick it up a notch?

also - Ben Torentelli has offered to General!!!!! (definitely a Mohammed Farrad Aidid type) Im calling him to confirm today.

I agree that if you want to get more of the hard core players then you need to go 24.
BTW, drop me a line and let me know what help you are going to need running the thing. I know we chatted about it a while back, but it looks like I will be in town until August or so. I am available to be your whipping boy.

G man is leaning towards 10 - and I need him on board - so I guess please ignore the 24 hour suggestion. lets keep it fun and lite hearted..

So is this event going to stay at 10 hours or is it going to 24? If its only 19 thats fine I will be there but you should try and make Super 64 in Nov 24 hours.

Super 61 - 10 hours 10am-8pm straight and on sunday, play free w/ player pass for rec ball. Ill talk to robbie about it. This will give the out of town teams a reason to stay over and camp out.

As for Super 64 - we'll see.

I would like to see the one in november be a 24 hour game. But 61 w/ free rec ball is a great idea.

OK Grendel is on board with making our November 6th game a 24 hours, but we will keeping Super 61 - April 9th a 10am to 8pm game.
