if you had asked this last year, i would have suggested the b2k4. very light, very efficient marker. not very fast stock. you would have to upgrade the board. etc. plus finding one with PDS (kinda like eyes). would push the price up to about $500 (new,not used).

but since the ION came out, really no new marker compares to this. 17bps, eyes, very light. ramping capability. the only knock against this gun is the fact that smart parts makes it. some people just dont like SP.

but bottom line, the ION is 10 times better than a b2k4. but if you can pick up a used b2k4 for less than a ION, you might be able to upgrade it and have a somewhat comparable gun.

I have also heard complaints about the ram, valve combo in the bko that one of them (i think the valve) tends 2 bend because the ram is aluminum and the valve is brass.

ion very nice entry level gun. it just rips for a 300 marker. you would not go wrong with it.

ion seems to be your best bet bud for the price and what it can dooooo!!
