have to have a team to play?

I wanted to take my dad with me to the scenario for his first time playing. I saw sign up sheets and teams all for it. I was wondering if you have to have a team to play in the scenario 64? or can you just sign up for it and play.

You can just sign up and play.. Most teams out there would be happy to have you and your dad play with them for the weekend...

just pic a team name and sign up as a two man team - or put out a message on this site- "look from a team to run with at super 64 - anyone have room?"

why do they have the team thing anyway. I mean i am not saying its a dumb idea i think its cool. But why do they have teams for it when it is 2 main teams against each other. It wont be a problem for me making a team. I already have a team name within like 2 seconds.

THanks,
Jared

It is better to have a team for scenarios so that you and your team can run missions, you and your team are familiar with each others style of play and can communicate well.It is not a must to have a team,my first two scenarios I was without a team, but it is alot more fun to have one

Ok i think we will have a team it'll be fun. Our team name is the Schmidty Crew.lol loving the name  See my dad doesnt know if he will be able to go because he has to go to Malaysia around the time the scenario is. He wants to go to the scenario. It'll be his first time. Hopefully it will be a good enough experience that he will like to play enough to get a gun or just keep using my tippmann. Tomorrow he is going to figure out if he will be able to go. It takes like 2 days to fly there so...

Thanks everybody,
Jared

P.S. If you dont know where malaysia is, its south of China. Look it up on a map you'll find it. hehe...
