Paint

I'm not sure if you have ordered paint yet, or if this has been adressed but I thought it might be a good idea to make a poll between the paint you said you would be ordering, I personally would like to see that Silver Evil, that stuff is incredible, I would by a case or 2, and I'm shooting a pump, I love taht stuff so much.

fair enough..

great idea on the poll. I wish I could say teh poll woudl determine what Robbie and National set up, but it sure cant hurt. As a pump player, my sniper II loves marbs. Ive never tried the silver evil - but I would love too.. Coze - what you shootin? marker/barrel/psi?

Well, since I have poured my life and soul into my Sniper, I usually only shoot that Silver Evil. Umm...I'm shooting a .689 Dye Ultralite, and not sure how many people have gone this low, but right now my Gen-X 2 is running 200 psi. into the gun, it is a faint whisper in the wind. I love it so much, and soon enough it will have a beautiful anodizing and lazer engraving to go along with the performance of the gun, so right now, it just walks the walk...

200 psi + evil + .689

200 psi + evil + .689
you will have to let me try it. My 16" Kaner on my old evo sniper II running around 290psi ala LP fatty+co2 - and any decent paint makes a fine cherry pie.
Marbs are always good if you can fit the bore - but dang them things are small. Does the evil silver fit the .689 ? I tried some Yellow Evil Grendel had from the Alabama mout game (I think) I sure he got it from PBC and it seems be a good .687 but I havent shot it yet. Im a bit scared to drop to 200psi. 250psi maybe if I can get the springs to work reliably.

ps: have you tried the stiffi off your sniper? Ive heard they are the quietest thing out there.

Yea, the Silver Evil, fits the .689, I think the different colors actually have a somewhat different quality and size difference just not sure why, thats why I always insist on the Silver when I can. Whenever we get some in at the store I usually buy 2 fresh case to keep for my lovely gun.
No I haven't tried a Stiffi, I never thought very highly of them, but if I could get my hands on one I might borrow it and try it out and see how it works.

I'm pretty sure that was the same paint I used at the mout site. It was the yellow Marbalizer which I thought rocked! It was very good paint with the exception of the bright color.

Personally, I like Marbs or Inferno in my sniper. The marbs are a tad bit more brittle.

more on yellow marbs

Gman let me shoot up a bag of those yellow marbs - and yep, they shot well. I prefer the green/black marbs -- The yellows are "duckable" cause you can see them coming a mile away. I guess I dont know here he got the yellow evil but I got 500 rounds to test.

ask grendel who put the splat right on top of the PBC logo splat on his PBC TShirt last Saturday...? Sniper vs sniper, Old Faithful vs Evostein - Thumper vs Grendel -- I guess the yellow marbs arent too bad for hunting Grendels

I agree. Definitely duckable but that's the best paint that was available at the time. I prefer the green ones as well. I heard there was some sort of "CAMO" paint available and initial reports were that it was awesome. Not sure who makes it. Anybody have any ideas?

Camo paint...well I've seen just about everything else under the sun when it comes to paint, especially working at the freaking store, I we have something that faintly resembles camo, but it is field paint. I don't know though...
