when picking sides the things goinf through my head is:
1) I want the fight to be fair and even - no one wants a blow out. This translated to both teams having a fairlly balanced number of good mission teams an good "just shooters" teams - and we split the walk ons.

2) Both teams need players familiar with the field

3) If tanks play in, we split them fairly unless the storyline dictates otherwise.

I would like to group BlackHearts/Splintercell/Roadkill together since these teams play together at away games frenquently and there is some really good comradarie forming up.. The Blackhearts also invite lots of players and help grow the sport in the Altanta area. (They brought 75 to the Free Finale) But grouping these 3 teams this will mean The ball crushers and romeo charlie will be needed to offset. It also looks like The Ball Crushers are shaping up to be a good home field team, and I like using them to play the columbia side. Romeo charlie is forming up nicely in providing a good "what ever is needed" team and they fit well to offset the blackhearts/splintercell/roadkill team.

Paintball Charleston is planning on bringing 100 players (10 of which are Roadkill) - and they are the General and XO. The 100 are likely to be pretty solid as they play some serious recball down there. Im sure this may fluxuate some, for hey - its just June.

Just for the record - there is no good definition of when a new scenario team turns "good" and then turns "pro" - but if there was, Romeo Charlie is certainly emerging as a professional scenario team by my eyes. Anything, anywhere anytime - and it gets done. Mark my words. And its nice to have a good NC team represent.


OK then, yes - the charleston boys vs the columbia boys - at least for now.

Nightmare 5150 and Team Overshot generally fall into the balance team. As we play and things move a bit out of whack and one team needs a little help, these two relativelt small teams help us balance things without moving a large number of players. I sure you have seen this as I flip-flop possom, and greg back and forth like flap jacks. ANd thanks to these teams for helping do this. It makes the play much more fun for all.

TN outlaws and Tunnel Rats: These guys represented well at Super 61 - And I expect great things out of these teams. But I havent heard much lately - but hey, its just June. Dont underestimate the Tunnel Rats. They will sneak up on you - guaranteed! - OH - and dont forget the newcomers Ball Busters out of winnsboro. (not related to the field) This mil-sim tea shows good ability, and a dedicated style. I expect they will make a good name for themselves.

Space mice: Um - As a one man wrecking crew, The Great Zen is incredible as a player. He keeps talking about bringing his crew - but so far its just talk (poke poke jab jab) We'll see if they show - but if they do, you better watch your flanks boys! Skill and fieldcraft.. nuf said.

Team SC Psycho is forming up now. With a recent taste of Bastogne, they want more! and are recruiting for a 10 man team ..I think. They are a little young I think, but that means young legs and lots of heart - which counts for a lot come nightfall and the final battle on Sunday. Im watching this team emerge with great interest.
