speaking of food...i hope Sysco brings the southern pig a big shipment on thursday because we are going to eat them out of house and home... unless we can get Hooters to cater breastes.

I spoke w/ Virginia at the southern pig yesterday and the deal is on:

$6 for buffet, add $1.25 for drink. - this is a $1.95 off normal dinner buffet rates. Just bring your player pass.

She also asked to please try and stagger everyone coming in. I told her her about the 6 to 8pm standdown, and heads up!!!

She says "we will be ready - with plenty of food."

my tip to some teams: try and get there at 5:45 or 6:45 to avoid the 6:15 crunch - especially if you arent planning on playing at night.

I would also recommend, if you aren't playing at night, eat a bit later. That way those that are planning to play at night will have a chance to get in and out quicker and back to the field.

a reminder to everyone to please carpool, I will be directing the parking for the event. I went with thumper and dell yesterday to look over the parking and it is very limited so please everyone CARPOOL.If we all work together we will be able to handle this smoothly.
