as a player of both sports and a man who likes to shoot paint from time to time i agree its out of hand. i have the ability to shoot over 30bps with my predator angel. but i do not and recball/scenario ball is not the place for it. i used my phantom this weekend playing sniper along side thumper, grendel , and areion( thanks guys for the advise, the talks and the fantastic sportmanship !!!) and i have to say those times this weekend were the best i have had in a long time. when i pulled out the angel i capped it at 13 and tried my best not to rip it. i think my vote would be for a 10-12 cap on recball play and no ramping!! if your caught your out.but its up to us as players to controll this like ben and many others have said. do you really want to see your favorite feilds shut down because a 12 year old kid got shoot in the head so much he had a concusion??!!! well thats where things could be heading and im am not going to stand for it. if it means you shoot a little slower so be it. but really why do you need to. i ball will do it. if you need the other 18+ then maybe you should take up another sport.because you if you need those other 18 balls then you dont have the skills to play ball!!! sorry for the rant but after the weekend and a lot of my freinds and fellow brothers/ sisters in paintball being lit up to the point they start to pack up and go home , im need to express my self.. this rant is in no way directed to any person that has been posting in this thread or meant to be pointed towards anyone else. its just a frustrated player letting out some steam!!!! and THUMPER i cant wait to see you guys in columbia!!! ill have the phantoms with me and the hi ends might not even make the trip, if i find a cocker by then....

Yeah, i like tourny guns and all. But im not a big fan of the guns in scenerio. People just go out hosing people down until the other person yells stop or hit. Also on the note about the hosing and the 15 bps, and all that good stuff bunkering is still allowed right?

Hi guys,
well I would vote for 10-12 for Woods. But how can you check a Mech Marker??? here is the first Problem, i think.
Think about a A5 with Reactive or E-Gripp!! Sweet spot and you are over it. The E-Gripp change the settings and you run 3Burst or pull shoot releas shoot...
A good example is my Mag....lol According to the Soundcheck on AO my Mag is shooting 22.5BPS highly reactive without paint. Its Mechanic so how do you want prevent that???? I think that would be the next Question.

Ohh I forgot to say that I try to keep my Air using as less as possible. I shoot maybe up to ten BPS on a good day. I think if you try to solf (spell) a problem you will create a new one.

And btw I got lid up on Saturday night in the middle of the road from at least 3 Highend Markers, and it was not pretty just because i could not get my arms up or they would shoot somewhere it will realy hurt so I turned around and yelled Iam hit at least 15times...

My opinion is kapp it to 10-12BPS and check it period. And Please dont ramp.

BTW I was talking to Camo at that night and we should come up with a Pumpgame soon. Sofar I know the most Pump Games are held in CA. So why dont we start that here????

For the reason of I lay down alot of cover fire. I try not to over shoot people because I have been over shoot before and I do not like it at all. But on the same hand nine out of ten the ones that say that they have gotten over shoot is the ones that wipe paint!!!!!!!! To me that is just as bad as the ones that are rapping and over shooting people. The mean thing is lets all keep it clean and just play good clean paintball!!!!!! and if you cant play by the rules just stay home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll tell you know this is a STAND-UP player. I'm agree with what he said. No need to ramp. Hes just a Wagner power painter

Most of the time when i pull a trigger i pull it 2 to 3 times that is the way i was taught to play our sport. the only time i really rip is when my team mates or myself need the extra paint to move. All my markers are capable of 13 to 17 balls a second. It is called self control. I don't know about the rest of you but nothing makes me madder than seeing a younger player keep getting bonus balled just to stroke someons ego.

A lot of you that have posted here are good friends of mine. I agree with what you have said.I will keep this short. 10-12pbs. I would like to see a all pump scenario. Or all pump days at the field.

I am encouraged by so many of my brothers supporting a reasonable rate of fire. I have an 8 year old son "John John" who asks me every event to come - he has been playing recball since he was 5 (very closely supervised), and I wunder how old does a kid have to be. 10 is the guideline, but I would not want John John with me last weekend in Ga. It was not safe for a 10 year old. The high ROF playing longball is one thing, but in that thick brush a burst can mean 10 balls making contact at 20 feet in half a second - and that is bad news. I know, cause it happen to me, and MANY players I saw.

Wiping isnt the problem. Wiping isnt dangerous.

There is a variation called hopper ball. Carry no pods of xtra paint. This variation also supports various storylines (like parashoot drops).
Would yall be interested if one of the two days - or at least for a few hours - we play hopperball? Its pretty easy to regulate - just look at their butt!

At Triggertyme during regular recball we play 280fps/6bps to encourage control, and to make the place newbie and pump play / stock class friendly. We also encourage our staffers and regulars to move towards pump play and hopper ball during recball play. I would encourage all woodsball fields that mix groups to listen closely to this discussion.

At Super 64 we will have a LARGE number of new players - THAT IS WHY WE MADE IT FREE!!!!! - We are trying to grow the sport in the area. - 90% of the markers there will be Pumps, Tippmans, Spyders and mech cockers. I encourage all players with their tourney guns to bring that marker you started playing with, or gear back to "This is just for FUN mode".

SUPER 64 is not SPEEDBALL IN THE WOODS.

Me? I would play my '94 evo Sniper II and hopper ball. The field is pretty thin in most places due to heavy play and very pump friendly.

Hi Thumper,
i have a stock B2K and the Board only knows on or off. No fancy modes or anything like that. Its just one pull on Shoot. You can not change the mode or ROF. Hope that Marker is ok?????
I will play my Mag most likely. I maybe get my E-Mag done with Software 3.2 You can look up on AGD Homepage. On the 3.2 Software are no ramping in or anything and I will cap the ROF done to 10BPS if I am going to play that one.

Inerwolf I am in for the Pump Game if I get my Pump done in time.....lol
