In wagner's defense he only shots that much paint when laying cover fire, if he is tageting a person he only shoots a couple of balls. During the stalingrad game there was alot of wiping going on and wagner just shot those individuals until they called out. I myself did the same thing, I never overshoot until someone starts wiping or they back into a bunker after being shot and then call for a medic. I agree with you aerion, I love the one shot one kill ideaology but it only works with the honest players. I love scenario paintball because of the honesty on the field, sc roadkill are some of the best examples of sportsmanship on the field but there is always at least one guy who thinks that wiping is OK.I mean no offense to anything I just said I just want everyone to know that The Pain play a good honest game and always will.

Lightbulb blah

i think we have reached the point of beating the dead horse to death...lol
use your head, we all agree that "special circumstances" occur. lol
the biggest thing is, as captains, is to keep our teams in line. ultimately they are our resposility.

We will work to have refs on the field in certain zones, reffing following the action, refs available on channel one, and 10 player refs - all of who can deal with wipers. It has not been a problem at TriggerTyme - sure it happens, but this is a game. The problem somes when bonus balling and dumping as much as you can on everyone becomes the norm.

We also wont have medics. They encourage wiping. (self medication )

example: see mikes post.

example: I was facing 90 degrees away from an enemy player at the same game, I wasnt wiping, nor do I, and the guys rips up my side with a single burst. The marker RTed, and I take 8 up the side of the head, neck and side at 40 feet. I was returning fire to other players at 2 bps out of an old mechanical cocker, and the guys was able to approach without being fired upon. It didnt hurt, nor was I angry - but this type of play is normal for certain groups of players - and we ran into a pretty health concentration of them in Ga, and it really did take away from the fun in the game. I still had a lot of fun, but Im hoping we can avoid this type of play at TriggerTyme.

We choose to be different. It is a business decision - knowing that certain teams that live for the more aggressive play wont find it appealing - and that is fine. But there is a slightly different customer we are reaching out to that we want to feel safe and have fun.

If you really want to dump, there are other places and other events. I know a the Free Finale will be an insane paint dumper of a show, and Wayne's final finale should be that times 2. These are incredible events. Ours is different - it is locally focused designed to bring NEW players into the sport.

Captains: please police your own.

Wiping is not the problem. Wiping isnt dangerous. If you see a wiper, call it in and let the refs deal with it. Teams that overshoot for ANY REASON or NO REASON will be asked to leave.

1 break is enough, 2 is fine, 3 is pushing it, more that that, and you crossed the line.

comments welcome.

i make a motion to consider more than 3 breaks on any one person overshooting, and therefore a violation of the rules. This, In my opinion, should be the only warning. Consecutive violations should lead to expulsion of the individual for the event, at triggertyme.

Thanks alot spyder I do not try to over shoot people if anybody trains with their marker they can hit what they are aming at and they will learn how to shoot in burst and not hit the traget more then one or two times. I try to shoot atleast two to three times a week just to stay in tone with my marker if I do end up over shooting somone nine times out of ten I will walk over and check on the person and tell them face to face and I have been known to walk out of the woods with the player after I checked on the player and said face to face that I was sorry. In the very first game that I played in at tiggertyme I was shooting a spyder non-e and I was asked if i was shooting full auto so I'm not bragging I just trying to tell my side of the game if they go to 10 bps then I will not have a problem with it!!!!! And me and team cp will play by the rules for the fact we play heads up paint and we will not put up with cheating or over shooting we just want a good hard day of clean and safe fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I follow what your saying and I agree,I know triggertyme has some very good refs. Wildfire had horrible refs so I know that I can come to a ref a tt about wiping and it will be taken care of ,wildfire we tried to do the same but after about 4 times of asking the ref and nothing being done about it we stopped trying. You don't have to worry about us overshooting anyone for any reason at tt,you have played with me enough to know I play fair.

now with all that being said lets focus on the game. triggertyme is one of the best fields I have ever played not only for the field itself but because of the honesty of the players that go there. The refs a tt are also one of the best i have played with, honesty on and off the field and lets not forget that thumper is running the show for this game and he is one of the most stand up players I have had the honor to play with. Lets have some fun

Ok time for one of these here GA players coming to this event to voice his opinion.

I could care less what the ROF is capped at. Sure I like to shoot fast sometimes very fast. I don't overshoot. More than half the time I just 1 ball someone. The only times I get my ROF going is when I see a large group of people off in the distance, I'll rain some paint on em and scare them enough to scatter but not over shoot.

The main reason I shoot pretty fast is because there are a few teams we have played against that have a very large tendency to wipe, I have shot a few and stood there and watched them in an open field wipe them selves off. When I watch them shoot I usually overshoot and give a few bonus balls letting them know they need to get out. If they have a problem they can come over and I'll tell them why I did it.

I usually bunker people but usually when I go to do it I always wait to shoot til I see who it is, if it's a little kid I'll yell surrender or just say "Your Gone". If it's someone older I usually just give them one shot, unless its an old fart (you fellas know who you are), then I'll do the same thing as with the little kids.

I prefer the feel of my electric gun over most mechanicals. I sometimes like to set it on ramp usually capping at 15bps just b/c I'm lazy and like to use one finger instead of concentrate on walking. But like I said half the time I usually one ball unless I really need to shoot. I would love to play with a pump but I don't own one. Pump play is great I just haven't had the money to buy one. Who knows I might have one by this game.

But I will most likely use my Predator Angel. I could care less if the ROF limit is 6bps in the day. I'l just set the cap on my gun to the game limit whether I use semi or not just so I know I won't accidently shoot over the limit.
