.....A wedge of cool air is in place and a disturbance not far outside the area continues to feed moisture over the cool air mass. The result will be considerable cloudiness with isolated patches of light rain or drizzle. Clouds will likely begin to slowly break by Thursday.

.....Drier air will be moving into the region as the skies clear. There will be plenty of sun for the end of the week into the weekend. Temperatures will be warm for this time of year and the weather will be great for the State Fair.

.....A cold front is expected to move through the Midlands late on Saturday. This will bring drier and slight cooler air to the area. The front will pass through as a dry cold front.

.....The dry weather pattern will last through the beginning of next week. Daytime temperatures will be warm. However, nighttime temperatures will be dropping into the mid 50's. Finally, a touch of fall!
