It will be pretty expensive but will be my "masterpiece". I wish you luck with your project and don't hesitate to ask anyone here about the process as well as your teammates. I hope you guys can make it here (we do have incentives for tanks to come), I promise it will be worth the trip!
Sounds like quite an undertaking Tim. Will be pretty cool though. Good luck!

Bobio has finally come around. the first time I rounded the corner and saw the turret for the tiger which was heavier than my tank, I was like 'Bobio it's too big'. But the wild eyed response told me he was helplessly in love.

Now a couple of Gs lighter just on transport cost he has come around and has a tank only slightly smaller than his Honda.

Yes the Tiger is so fun to ride and watch, but like a real tank it breaks things whenever it gets on the fields. Tis the coolest, but so is a pink caddy. I prefer the sports cars myself.

Sounds like Brain has got track fever. oh man!

Interglacials are short and then we enter the nasty brutishness of the glacial periods.

LOL! Everyone loves big tanks!

It is looking good for ODX to make it down to Charelston. Our team commander/field owner said he was really wanting to go to this game, and November was an off month for us. Might do this instead of our regular training rotation for that month, same week end.

Anyway, went through the I wanna, and there are tons of older 4x4's for under $1500. Saw an old Luv 4x4 for $800. I may call that guy up, plus a few other ones. Small, lite, and I use to have one. And luckily my friend who will be the tank gunner, is a good mechanic with more tools than most garages have. Good to have a step dad like his. 70+ years old, and loves to teach you about working on stuff, including boats, planes, and heavy equipment. Nice to have that kind of knowledge around. Great guy.

Anyway, i am gonna try and make a go at building a tank this time, instead of just flake out like the last time I was thinking about it. It's only money, I can go home and print more.

You guys will love what Brain has created there for tanks. While Bearclaw rules for open plain formation play on the 35 acres, PBC is king of the on field tank play....open fields...fields with obstacles...stream crossings...woods...narrow jungle trails...village battles...and very hard to penetrate bases which keeps the tanks just outside the gates. My kids rate it number 1.

and of course there's Brecks. yum!

Love to have you there...as friend or foe!

Really looking forward to seeing PBC this fall. Get an idea of how tanks operate on that field.
