Made just for Brother against brother

for this game only cannon type launchers will be allowed....so I made this

FYI: it is a simple inline design that can be later used as a shoulder fired LAW when removed from the wheel mounts

New Bergles design "in-work"

Okay, one thread already has a "redneck version" of this posted as a spud-gun. The advantage of this "tube-in-tube" design is actually to shorten overall length. I am using a 4" outer shell tube so I can operate at 220 fps with only about 60 psi. Notice that this is a breech-loader, as well. The forward tee will allow for futrue modification when I convert it to constant air. (Ideally, this will eventually go in a tank)

here's mine:

That hose goes to the barrel which now has a quick exhaust valve on it. It's breech loading as well.

I'm working on a "folded" type launcher now, which is nearly completed. That way I can have two for PBC's November scenario.

Volcano, that cannon launcher looks pretty cool.

constant air???

Can you post close-ups of the constant air plumbing?
It looks like you have an HPA tank to a regulator that fills an accumulator with a guage on the inlet side of the reg and a relief valve on the outlet just ahead of the shutoff to your supply hose. Is that correct? so you've moved the accumulator off the launcher, that's very unique and very smart!! Kudos to you for inventiveness!!!! Let me know if I misunderstood you design...and what kind of breech loader? Cap assembly or floating barrel???

Next design, breech loading mulit-barrels with CA!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, that's exactly how it works. I've got a 1/2" quick-connect in place of that shutoff valve now so I can move it around easier when I'm not playing. I can run pressures up to 200 psi now, but around 150 works fine. That accumulator is actually a fire extinguisher that's drilled and tapped for 1/2" threads. CA is the way to go, no messing around with a separate valve and having to watch the gauge. The chamber is recharged by the time I can get another nerf loaded into the barrel and I can always keep my eyes on the target.

The barrel is pvc and I used 4 slip-over couplings to cover the hole in the barrel. It's hard to see, but there's a hole there that I can drop the nerf in and slide the cover back.

This design actually came from HeadHunter on warpig's forums. He's a very helpful guy and has tons of great information. Although I like this design, it gets pretty heavy after an entire day of running around on the field, so I'm making a second launcher which is actually surprisingly light.

The pipe sticking down on the bottom of the launcher is where the regulator will go. I can shoulder this design, unlike the backpack design. I'll still have to carry the nitrogen tank in a backpack though.

Something that's currently on the drawing board is an autoloader. Essentially, a semi-auto launcher. I'm thinking something along the lines of a belt-fed device. I also have several other designs in the works (still on the drawing board).

Dude, nice. Yeah Dale has alot of usefull information. The fire extinguisher body he figured out to use is a perfect pressure chamber.

You should post those over on the PIG.

Nice Job

Thanks for posting more pics
I like the way you simplified the breech loading

I use 1-1/2" barrels for the nerfs, yours looks like a 2"
do you have any sealing issues or it probably doesn't really mater with CA

Our nerf cannons are all 2-inch. I'd think 1 1/2 inch would be too small.

I use 1-1/2" with no problems
Nice tight fit and I get about 80 yds at 80 psi on the black one posted above.

But my barrels are interchangable so I will give you a yd/psi rating on the 2" barrel with the same pneumatics.

BTW: CONGRATULATIONS BOBIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
