Has anyone used one, own one, or seen one in person. I was thinking about getting one but was not sure if they would fire a nerf and also if a feild would let you play with such a device mainly in scenarios. Thanks.

Yes, built my own launcher, but only recently got a chance to kill tanks with it.
you really can only use it in scenerio games, but occasionally a field will allow it in a rec-ball game if everyone agrees on the rules.
FYI: it cost about $40-50 in parts....about 3-4 hours to built (mostly in the firing switch wiring and soldering:mine has an in-line safety), and it must chrono under 200 fps (can be adjusted by the pressure you charge the accumulator tank up to )

Has anyone every made a "gatlin gun" or multi-barrel launcher?
This is my next project, and hope to have it ready for operation Torch

Iron Medic, I believe the Scepter is not large enough to fire a Nerf out of. I havent got to inspect one up close but once.

Volcano, Never had anything like a Gatlin but I made a double barrel launcher. But it was an old inferrior design and that made it extremly heavy. I had the old bicycle pump model that basicly I banded two together. Way to heavy to tote around a field.

Now I was also making another one, when my home field went away from nerf launchers, so I never finished it. Two 12 gram ball valve modled launchers banded together and mounted on a stock off an old Moisen-Nagant model 1891 (M91 to us M91 owners ). Anyway, it had a little heft to it as well. I had originally had a single barrel mounted on the stock.
