Ill type something up this weekend.
Up north and at D-Day and everywhere I have ever played ONLY Rockets or satchels or in the case of D-Day Anti-Tank paint, kills a tank or anything on it. The turret gunners from D-Day get the $hit shot out of them, on the northern east coast the latest trend is to put a gunner on the front with no protection except the pads they can strap on. They all get shot hundreds of times and are still live......they can't see but they are still live. I personally like it like this, a good shot to the goggles will stop you from getting shot, and for the guys ridding exposed on the outside they know what they are getting into and they love it.

On the notion of shooting the gun. If we are talking about a "Troop carrier" I can see if a rider gets shot he should be out. On the tanks Rockets or satchels only.

I think there should be an additional punch location on cards to show a player attended the player's safety meeting prior to the start of the game. Attendance at the briefing should hold the same importance at chronoing a gun. before play.

I know I am a late bloomer for this post and that I have had no experiance with tanks in my paintball career, but to me, if the person in the tank is exposed enough to be hit by a marker then they should considered killed (depending on where the were hit). Now I am not saying that the tank the person was in is destroyed, just the person dumb enough to risk being exposed by shooting from an open turrert or driving with no protection around them.

The reason why I say this is, if you are trying to simulate what would really happen to a tank, you will need to allow all exposed players to be killed by marker shots. If they dont want that to happen, then they should build their tanks so that it is impossible to hit a player with a marke. Forcing a demo team to take the tank out.

From what I can gather. The main problem about the player inside the tank getting shot is a player maning an open turret, a fixed marker inside the tank, and a player that decides to pop out with their personal marker. From that I say this. If you open yourself up to be shot then you are going to get hit and be called out. Dont want that to happen. Then find a way to build your tank so that paintballs cant get through and hit you.

That is just my two cents worth.

This will be in place soon. I have requested it for our game this month but Ben had already made the cards. We will however be punching cards anyway to acknowledge the safety briefing.

Nice. I hate to say I won't be there . I always love tanking that field and _________________(choose one)

a) blowing up
b) catching fire
c) breaking down on the way
d) breaking down on the field
e) breaking down on the way back.

Always tough for my big tank this field was made for the bug.

At the very least it will eliminate the "I didn't know that" defense.
