Our troop tank

Alright junkies I have now been informed to start a new thread here about the tank my firend and I are building it could be used now but we are still doing a few things to it. the turret is 13' long and the vehicle is 18' long. The turret spins 360 degrees and fires 40 round cartridges and also shoots the little nerf footballs. we are now designing and making smoke bombs to fire out of the main guns. Thats right I said main guns two 1.5" mainguns one under the other and they are loaded from the inside. The vehicle will sit 7-10 troops in the back. when the troops get out there will be a net on the frame holing the turret up so the gunner will not be hit. There are also 2 gun ports in the turret to fire a regular paintball marker out of. The vehicle also has 4 gunports for the troops to fire from. In the turret there are built in fans and lights so the gunner can keep cool and see. Changing flag colors is also no problem from the in side. The turret also has the lid on it like a regular tank would. When this lid is open we have a piece of paintball net that we can put in place in about 3 second so no grenades get through. We tested it with a 21oz. hammer dropped from about 10' above the turret before we put the turret on the vehicle. The turret alone weighs about 450lbs. When the troops jump out the back they will not even have to shut the doors the gunner will be able to close them from inside the turret area. Well I do not now how to post the pictures so I will just gil you the link. index Go about halfway down the right side of my site in the black are and click in vehicle to see the pictures of the tank that I have so far and if you want to see some of the pictures of the turret being built just click on turret. Thanks for your time and if anybody could tell me how to post a picture that would be great.

Thanks for looking and for all of your opinions.
Also Thanks for hooking me up Junkie

Nice looking tank. I like the combination of tank/personnel carrier. Good Job!

MPP also treats a hit on a hand held marker as an elimination for markers sticking thru murder holes in tanks. The marker has to be able to remain in place without being held to be part of the tank. Some fields have marker limits for tanks also btw. In my tanks I use bungies and a a pvc pipe to make the markers part of the tank since it stays in place without holding....

Hey Brain...Did you know this?

Of Course I would defer to Ben as the ultimate source for his own rules....

The marker limit and handheld rules are specifically aimed at van tanks packed with 14 guys shooting MROF at many games just not MPP.

The troop transport problem is with people moving in and out of 'tanks' violating the 10/20 ft rules required for safety. Helicopters provide this function in the games now with more safety and only other aircraft can bring them down.

But variations abound. Talk with the field people and the promotor beforehand when bringing something new to a field so there are no surprises on either side.

I'd check with Ben, he'd be able to make a final ruling. I think troop transport would be great. People disembarking would have to move more than 10' from the tank (and the tank can't move while troops are disembarking).
D-Day only allows 2 anti-personnel markers per tanks and 1 anti-tank marker (double trouble counts as 2 markers).

Looks wicked. Ever considered going to D-Day? If so drop me or USarmyManofWar a pm. We could use you in the 2nd Armored.

I may be totally off on this but I thought that Ben was allowing troop transporters but the vehicle engine has to be in park and engine off before anyone can move in and out of the vehicle. For some reason I remeber something about that last Charleston game.

Ben can you clarify for all of us....

I have a special treat that should be ready for Charleston in November......
