Possibilities

I am about to get my tank to the point that I am going to post some pictures. Probably monday sometime. This weekend is going to be one busy weekend.

What are some of the requirements for "vehices" or "tanks" in a scenario. Gunships? Other things?

MPP Games Official Tank Rules

Tanks must be mechanically sound and approved by game director (functional brakes, safe electrical systems, mechanically sound engine, etc.). Tanks must also look the part - have main gun or machine guns, or both. (wiz: I want all the ground players to enjoy me being there to some extent,... the opposing tanks to hate me.)

Players and tank owners are deemed solely responsible for their vehicles on and off the field. (wiz: safety first always. every game some player will do something stupid around you. count on it and watch for it. sometimes twice. sometimes it's a ref.)

Each tank is to be accompanied by a designated referee. (wiz: would be nice. Always find and work with a ref as you enter an area or they will dissallow seeing your best cannon shot against a bunker. Be stand up for the laws guys even without a ref. If you hear it hit call yourself out...don't be an ass like some brush monkeys and only acknowledge a hit when the ref calls it. We're tankers and have a higher game standard)

All tanks have a 20 foot safe area; any player breaking this safety zone will be eliminated. Accordingly, a tank must stop 20 feet from any stationary player and may never break this barrier line, and, therefore, players cannot use tanks as a means of transportation. ( wiz:Ben was using a 10ft rule last game)

No "walking tanks" are allowed; otherwise, they would to be considered a non-allowed moveable shield. (wiz: hahahahaha no pugs! aka headhunter from warpig)

Maximum speed for tanks is that of a walking pace. (wiz: yeah ok.)

Tanks are never to be used at night. (wiz:some fields up north just require they have lights for night play...so cool)

The tank's main gun velocity is 220 feet per second or less. (wiz:Jeez thats fast..I shoot slower to keep my nerfs intact)

Paint markers chrono speed is 260 feet per second or less; setting on semi-automatic only. (way easy to chew ppl up. Go easy on ppl who for whatever reason just don't see you. Unless it's a laws guy who thinks a hit on his launcher does not count. yum yum eat 'em up. I shoot less than one case a game)

The tank's main guns may shoot only nerf rockets (these are to be approved by game director).

The tank may not transport people or props (violates the "20 foot safe area" regulation).

Each tank must have a team insignia clearly identifying what side they represent during the game. These flags will act as an elimination indicator when flying upright in play, when down - eliminated.

Tanks can only be eliminated by impact from a nerf round, satchel charge (landing on or under the vehicle), or paint grenades (will disable a tank's movement for 5 minutes, the tank may still fire).

If a tank is eliminated, it must leave the field and await reinsertion in the same way an eliminated player would. (wiz: or return to base. varies per game)

As for all players, approved goggles are mandatory and must be worn when on the playing field. (wiz:Wear a full mask. Some dude shooting hot will buzz a ball intact thru your netting at least once a year)

Remember: You are responsible for reading and following these rules!

(wiz)Some fields require an external cutoff switch for the ignition (waynes) and insurance of some sort if the chassis ever had a VIN number (read car or truck).
