Tank and Anti-Tank Ammunition
I just got my MKX Rocket Launcher in the mail the other day (and since it has been raining all weekend in Jackson, MS I haven't had a chance to play with it). I bought 20 Nerf rockets for the launcher (10 regular and 10 howling). From what I have read most people seem to prefer the howling Nerf rocket. However, I went outside the other day to test out the launcher/rockets and noticed that the howling rockets had a much tighter fit in the launcher (really had to work to get them in). This tight fit seemed to produce an erratic flight and they didn’t fly nearly as far as the non-howling rockets (non-howling fit snug but not too tight). Has anyone else experienced this problem or is just me.
BTW – I was very impressed with the MKX Rocket Launcher and am looking forward to trying it out at Operation Sea Lion. Thanks Keith |

You might have to trim the fins to straight out you flight path.
We are trying a New Style Rocket Launcher this weekend & it dose not use Nerf rocket, if it works their will be a mark where it hit tank , bunker or building. Just another wicked item from Mr. Wizard Basement. LOVE & KISSES CASTRO

![]() Yeah the howlers are about 1/8" bigger across due to the little howler thingee. You can sand 'em down (the plastic piece) a bit so they don't bind in the tube. They're heavier and should fly well. I tested the nerf with fins trimmed and untrimmed. Trimmed will give you a tighter grouping at 50 yds. But just enough to hold the nerf shaft centered.

Well I went ahead and ordered a bunch of the non-howling rockets and few of the howling rockets. Want to get them before Operation Sea Lion.

I am wanting to make a anti-tank weapon. I dont know much about them, but I am pretty good at making stuff. What size pipe do I use, is pvc sch80 okay. I have a quick change that I would like to use, I know it has the different threads how do I get them to cross over to regular pipe threads.
