I know for a fact MXS won't allow a tank built on a frame that ever had a VIN (vehicle identification number). So you are better off with a golf cart or 4-wheeler. Some promotors don't care. So chech the rules for any promotor whose games you are thinking about attending. Usually their web site has that information.

The insurance varies too. My agent said he could write a policy for my tank for something less than $400.00 a year. MXS has a deal with their liability provider for something like $100.00 per event.

I can't see paying all the expenses to go to an event and then pay the promoter another $ amount for a tank. We carry general liability for every player and that is enough.

I agree with Brain. There is no real reason to be forced to carry this extra insurance. The promotor has field liability and everyone signs away any right to sue when they sign the waivers. I think it's a scam myself.

its geared low enough that it idles around walking speed when in low range. i dunno... i just got married so i probably shouldn't start any new projects yet... someday i'll just fab something up from scratch.

Bug plans

These are the only 2 pictures you need to figure out how to build a bug:

Interglacials are short and then we enter the nasty brutishness of the glacial periods.
