I have to agree with you CBD, I also had a Tippmann gun, and it was VERY dependable. Of course being the FOG (#%/*ing Old Guy) that I am mine was a "68 Special". It worked off "liquid CO2" and actually had a recoil from the heavy hammer, but it worked well, when other semi's were breaking down on the field.

Thanks for the input sorry it took so long to reply but I only have dial-up at home and these forums are no fun on dial-up.

I actually got to shoot an A-5 this weekend. It was cold out and I could bearly see passed the end of the barrel due to the cloud of CO2 but it was a lot of fun to shoot. I'm seriously entertaining buy one.

Unfortunately, back in 1996, my ex-stepson stole my SI Bushmaster, SI Promaster, and my 68 Special, so he could do what ever it was that he was snorting, smoking or drinking at the time.

Boy Howdy, do I relate to THAT! The operative prefix being "EX"! That reminds me... I need to check the court records to see if the little bastard went to jail...

It's mainly the "Not Knowing", if I new that they were being taken care of, it wouldn't be so bad... sniff... But I just DON'T know...

I have recently got a new/used SI Bushmaster, but it's not the same... ya know ya can't replace a loved one... you just can't... I'm sorry I have to go...
