Any comments about Flatline for 98 custom pro?

Anyone have a Flatline barrel on a 98 Custom? Do you like it? Anyone have comments on pro's and con's of this barrel? Was told you couldn't do more than 2 or 3 BPS or barrel would clog or bust balls in barrel. Also, what about mounting a red dot or scope.Isn't the barrel shroud plastic? How to go about a solid mount system for scope/dot?Any info would be appreciated.I'm looking at barrels now and I'm looking for distance and accuracy but, want reliability as well.

Thanks, swampfox44

There is a metal shroud for the 98. As far as the flat line i'v shot x-ball/proto without much problem. the secret is your loader upgrade to a halo or something along those lines and it should work. I have a 98 and a A-5. they can reach out and touch someone. Just ask anyone @ BearClaw(OP:SeaLion) this past weekend about them. I was reaching out and they could not figure how they were getting hit.

With the Flatline barrel, you can shoot further and sharper than most other barrels will.
