Model 98

Will the regular 98 take most of the mods that go on the 98C?
My father-in-law just bought one from a guy, and wants to upgrade it.

I think the only thing you might be able to do to it is add a LPK. You might have to do some heavy modding<----is that the word ?....... if he wants a double trigger, he will have to shave off the trigger guard. Im sure there are lots of things to do but its pretty hard for a model 98
