I think everyone is missing the big picture. There is a safety issue here! It's no big deal if you shoot a 2x2 with a paintball marker, but what happens when you confuse the drill for it and drill a hole in your buds or worst grab the nail-gun. LOL

It looks like Tippmann is going for the speedballers. It looks a little bulky. I suspect it is going to be a low cost marker, Wal-Mart gun. Who knows, Tippmann is full of surprises and it might just turnout to be the next fat-cat of markers.

Play safe and have fun,
Omnicool

UGLY!!!!!!!!!!! I love Tippmann but umm yeah there is no way I would carry that thing. It is very bulky and just looks stupid. I really can't believe they came out with that.

Found on the nation:

"In recognition of the growth of paintball sales, and the highly profitable mass market sector of paintball, larger companies are "taking aim" at marketing paintball products.

In addition to the Tippmann Triumph, many companies outside paintball are looking at our sport to make a quick buck from the Walmart customers who are mostly uneducated in the sport but recognize brand names.

Companies with highly recognizeable brand names are the first to jump into the paintball mass market segment, and have already begun to experiment by simply modifying their existing products to be paintball products.

One such example can be found here:"
