Radict. Read back at my last post. You can get a spring kit from just about any paintball shop.

you said they have multiple springs for the 98. its more a trial and error kinda thing? My cousins 98 is 1 of the guns his dad has in a pawn shop. So it may not ever see HPA again but this is good info for me since my bt-4 has the same enternals. thanks.

You're welcome. Trust me, it takes a little bit of time but once you find the match. You are set to go.

I've got a tippmann 98 c w/response trigger and I run a 72/3000 hpa tank and it works awesome. Chrono's as low as 210 and I've had it register in the 290's before. All the internals are stock except the RT. Don't know why I've heard so many people on different sites bash using HPA with a 98c

I get about 900 shots to my A-5 E-grip with a pure energy 68/4500 HPA, after that u can forget it.
there are spring-kits on tippmannparts.com and u can get a greenie meanie type brillo pad(not a metal one) and lightly polish the internals were the bolts move and maybe put a little wax on the area, this should increase rof and decrease gas usage.
