Tippman 98 Custom Response Trigger Question

Hey all:

I have recently came to realize that purchasing a Response Trigger for my 98 Custom might be a nice upgrade.

Is it worth buying, and can I install it myself, or do I have to send in my 98c to get it fitted like you would for the Model 98?

Thanks,

Vaz

No for the 98c it is just drop in. It is actually very simple to install. The only part that takes time is tuning it in after it is installed, all you do is adjust the 2 screws until you get the speed and i think it's how hard the trigger pull is.

It all depends on where you get it, we at PBC install and, and for self install it isn't that hard either, if you have an old enough Tippmann you might need a drill, just depends on how old, if not its jsut the matter of changing the power tube and screwing some stuff in. After that thre is just a little screw to adjust how much pressure is behind that little pin, which basically adjusts how fast it will shoot...

if its a 98 custom its a drop in, if its a 98 you will need a drill. Its not hard just make sure you dont lose the power tube from the gun when you put the RT in.
