Tippmann A-5 Firing Problem

I was hoping someone got some advice for me. I just bought a Tippmann A-5 w/ E-grip(w.a.s.) and flatline barrell. My problem is that it seems like my gun is releasing too much air with each shot. It also sounds like it should be shooting 2 or 3 balls with that much purge. The gun sounds really loud and I feel like I'm wasting too much air with each shot. I tried everything to correct this.I tried the velocity screw, debounce, ROF, and even put it to single shot semi. All to no avail. I took the gun apart and checked all the o-rings and they were all fine. The gun is brand new and this problem is driving me nuts. My best friend got the same model at the same time and his gun sounds perfect( very quite compared to mine and doesnt sound like it should be releasing 2 or 3 balls), this is how I know my gun is firing wrong. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm using CO2 with the gun. I dont have a regulator on it, but in my research on them a lot of PBers said they dont make much of a difference for their cost and the added weight, except maybe a few extra shots per tank.

Unfortunately the w.a.s egrip came with my gun. I have no other grips. If it keeps giving me problems I'll ebay it and get a regular e-grip without w.a.s. Thanks for the feedback.

I have a WAS and love it never had a problem, and I've put better than 30 cases through the gun since I got it. Check your battery.

does the gun shoot ok? how many shots do you get off of what sized tank approximatly? It might be working fine, and it is just a noisy gun
