Isca I am glad to hear you were able to narrow down your problem and hopefully that will prove to be it so you can get back to ballin. Grendel good call on the broken paint causing the spark not to arch from the electrode. Keep us posted if this isnt the source of the problem.

After disassembling the marker in its entirety... I've found a new respect for people who work on complicated things. I had to take every thing apart to get to the inside of the firing chamber to clean it out, and the spark plug was indeed shorting out against the side of the chamber. The o-ring on the spark plug was slightly damaged as well as the one that is against the barrel and combustion chamber, each of which I'll have to get replacements for tomorrow or so. But its sparking now!
