Tippmann X7

I am holding in my hands, Tippmann X7 #35 and I must say that it is the sweetest Tippy I have ever seen! It is light and easy to hold. I imagine that this is going to be a big seller for them. It's like an A5 on steroids. Check one out if you can...

Hey man, you need to put a video of your gun on Youtube. I still have not seen a video of one other than the one put out by Tippmann which does not show what I would like to see. Also, does anyone know where a video of the X7 is?

I have a Tippmann X7 that I bought when it first came out ...it's serial number is 160. I've taken it to several games now and the cyclone hopper chews paint up like a blender. I've tried 3 different kinds of paints and two different barrels as well as took the cyclone apart and made sure that the parts were working correctly. I still had the issue. I was out playing today and after a game, the ratchet broke! On a brand new gun! I replaced it and I still had the blender issue. Any thoughts or ideas on what I can check or do??? This is a brand new gun so it shouldn't be having these issues.
Not yours, got it.

Where did you see the 6oo cases at? Did this person contact Tippmann? It could be a defect in the manufacturing process somewhere. I have hear that the EGrip can out shoot the gun and cause problems with the cyclone bending. Maybe they have it set faster than the gun can shoot. I don't have one neither, but that's what I've heard.

All else fells the trusty A5 will come through.

I spoke with the guys at Tippmann Tech. They informed me that they haven't seen any problems with the cyclone on the X7 breaking paint other than the cold weather problems that are normal to this time of year. The guns they have had sent in and they have tested it with ProCaps paintball they haven't had a problem. They did say the ratchet drive might could break and cause ball breaks, but it hasn't been an issue. They are no 600 Cases as to their knowledge.

The X7 is a nice gun, but you can't make it low pressure which most Tippmann owner don't use and the Flatline barrel will not fit on it.

Play safe and have fun,
Omnicool

P.S. I have some X7 Hoppers if anyone is interested in then PM me.

The X7 does have a flatline, it's just not released yet

the cyclone shredder could be caused by an inadequate QEV... i mean, it sounds like the cyclone just can't keep up with the marker. and yes, there is a flatline, but i think it looks pretty gay. the marker itself to me looks pretty sweet. saw the one at PBC, and although i didn't actually hold it, it was HUGE and looked bulky. if anybody here has one, swing by my camp at the tarawa game. i'd love to hold one and see how it feels.
.
ps- i'd never even consider ditching my A5 for an X7... unless one of the X7s features is that it runs off of happiness and shoots out money.
