Joshua D. Silverman of the CFOA confirmed today that the league, the world's largest five-man circuit, and GenXGlobal have reached a sponsorship agreement for the 2006 season. While terms of the agreement were not disclosed, as GXG manufactures packs, pods and other soft goods for competitive paintball it seems clear that the CFOA's players will see this gear in their goodie bags after winning or placing (Charlie Brown will reportedly still get a rock).

Josh walked around with a smug smile on his face all day after the delivery guys unloaded a bunch of big boxes from GXG at his office last week. When ordered to either wipe that look off his face and get back to work or at least tell us what was going on, he said "I think everyone in paintball has noticed the big splash GXG is making in the industry, with countless new products and page after page of ads in the best publications, like PGi. That GXG finds the CFOA to be a valuable and significant part of their business plan is flattering to say the least."
