A mandatory captains meeting will be held at 6pm Thursday September 9th 2004 at Sam Boyd Stadium for all teams competing in the Vegas event.

The meeting will be held on the Club Level of the Wells Fargo Tower on the West side of the Sam Boyd Stadium. Just park in the West parking lot and take the elevator to the Club Level.

It is very important for Captains to attend this meeting. We will address any rule changes and Rule clarification. In Denver we had 102 teams attend the meeting, which means 60 teams did not get the information on new rules. We also need all Pro captains to attend the meeting as we will begin to discuss next year’s program.

I attended the captains meeting to see what goes on. I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see that half of the people there were not even listening to what Phil and Chuck were saying.

The front half of the room was attentive and seemed interested in the presentation. The back half was full of side conversations and chatter. No wonder some of these players claim they didn't know about some of the new rule clarifications. If these guys want to be treated as pros then they need to act like pros, which includes paying attention to the presentation.
